James Cook University’s Social Justice Cluster will be screening the film on May 14.
The first screening for the School of Arts and Social Science, Social Justice Cluster researcher, Dr. Theresa Petray says Utopia is a ‘great opportunity to open up some discussions about Indigenous inequality and, more importantly, what we can do about it.
As a free community event, it’s a chance for us to explore how we can use our skills and resources to work with community members’.
Utopia, will be screened on 14 May in Townsville at Education Central building and in Cairns at A21.002, JCU Smithfield, 5-8pm.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with local community members.
